Been wondering whether the DualSense will work with any other systems besides the PlayStation 5? YouTuber Austin Evans got his hands on one and decided to run some tests. He discovered that the DualSense can be used with a PC. Let’s take a look at his video and discuss what he learned form running his tests on various platforms.
The DualSense Can Be Used With a PC and Xbox Game Pass

Evans tested out the controller with a few systems. For the most part, it wasn’t compatible with non-PS5 platforms. For example, the Xbox Series X was able to charge it, but the controller didn’t work with it. As it turns out, the controller also cannot work with the PS4. So, it was somewhat surprising to see that it did work with PC. Evans had to choose the correct settings, but once he did, it was compatible. He also found he could pair it with a device running Android. The result? DualSense can work with Xbox Games, assuming you are going this route to play them rather than trying to play them directly on an Xbox system.
As you might expect, some of the advanced features of the controller do not work on PC, because they are specifically for PS5. So, you cannot get haptic feedback or adaptive triggers to function unless you are playing on the PS5. Still, it is cool that you have the option of using the controller with your PC to play Xbox games.
