However, most of the information regarding the game comes from statements by the development team. This doesn’t mean that Naughty Dog will leave their loyal fanbase without a Christmas present.
The Mystery Behind a Possible Heartwrenching Moment
This weekend, the game’s director Neil Druckmann shared a moment on Twitter for the fans. He revealed that the shooting for “one of the most complicated and heart wrenching scene we’ve ever worked on” happened before the team went off to celebrate Christmas.

The developers and Voice Actors and actresses are clearly hard at work to make The Last of Us: Part II worth the wait for many players. This is made more apparent by the reaction made by Ellie’s voice actress, Ashley Johnson.
In response to Neil’s tweet, Ashley weighed in on the recording session as well on Instagram. She mentioned that it was the last recording session before the Holiday season. Afterwards, Ashley talked about the context of the scene itself. She made it a point to note the scene was “some heavy, heavy stuff.”

Of course, both director and voice actress wished for their fans for some happy holidays. This also came with a promise for more information about the game in the upcoming year. At the very least fans are left with the promise of a game that will definitely have impactful story developments.
