PC Monster Hunter fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the Monster Hunter World Witcher 3 collaboration on PC. Capcom announced today that the limited time event will begin on PC May 9, 2019. That’s only a month for players to wait to check out how Witcher protagonist Geralt plays in this online monster-hunting crossover.
Both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game have already enjoyed this crossover event back in February this year. However, PC players have had to wait to check it out but the wait is almost over. Only one month remains until the start of the Monster Hunter World Witcher 3 collaboration on PC. This special crossover event will bring with it some exciting new quests, gear, and even more.
The actual Monster Hunter World Witcher 3 collaboration event is actually being split into two distinct parts. The first part will begin on May 9 and allow players to take on the role of Geralt of Rivia. You will get to play as him in a special Contract that will have you take on the Leshen. What’s interesting about this quest is that it will have multiple endings, similar to the Witcher games.
Through that quest, players will be able to collect Geralt’s armor, the Witcher Silver Sword and shield, and much more. However, that’s only just the first part of this event. The second part begins on May 17 and will only last through May 30, 2019. This is meant to be an extremely challenging Contract quest where players will be able to make Ciri’s armor, another set of Geralt’s armor, and a dual blades weapon.
While the second half only goes on for a short period of time, the initial quest with Geralt will be a permanent addition to Monster Hunter World. The Monster Hunter World Witcher 3 collaboration event begins next month on May 9, 2019 for PC players. If you are on console, the event already happened in February earlier this year.
