There Are Only 10 PS4 Games You Can’t Play on PS5

Been worried about whether your favorite PS4 games will run on PS5? It turns out that there are just 10 PS4 games you can’t play on PS5. Sony revealed all of them, and also published a blog post that provides some additional information about how PS4 games will run on PS5. Let’s check it out.

What Are the 10 PS4 Games You Cannot Play on PS5?

Here is the list of the 10 games that won’t run on PS5:

  • DWVR
  • Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
  • TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2
  • Just Deal With It!
  • Shadow Complex Remastered
  • Robinson: The Journey
  • We Sing
  • Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
  • Shadwen
  • Joe’s Diner

Every other PS4 game that isn’t on that list should run fine on PS5. In the post, Senior VP, Platform Planning & Management Hideaki Nishino said, “We are focused on the huge catalog of games on PlayStation 4, and we’re pleased that more than 99% of PS4 games will be playable on PS5 on day one.” He also said, “PS4 titles get even better on PS5. Select PS4 titles will see increased loading speeds on the PS5 console, and will also leverage Game Boost, offering improved or more stable frame rates. Some titles with unlocked frame rates or dynamic resolution up to 4K may see higher fidelity. Additionally, PS4 games will also take advantage of some of PS5’s new UX features, but more to come on that later.”
