Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 4 is due to launch in just a few days’ time. When it does, players will get access to the first of three new Operators who will be coming to the game this season; the South African Perseus agent known as “Jackal”.
The Black Ops Cold War Season 4 Operators
As per usual, the first new Operator of Black Ops Cold War Season 4 will be available as the Tier 0 reward in the new season’s Battle Pass. As such, Jackal will effectively be freely available throughout both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. He is only the fifth Perseus agent to become available to play, joining Stitch, Naga, Wraith, and Knight. Treyarch describes him as a; “brutal mercenary leader,” whose loyalty has been bought by Perseus. He will be the first of three new Operators coming this season, and the only one available at launch.
Later in the season, players will be able to get two more Operators, both of whom will be available through in-game store bundles. The first of these two will be Salah, a new NATO Operator, who was part of the CIA mission to investigate the satellite crash site in Algeria. (The site of Collateral, the first new map of Season 4). He is a member of Egypt’s Unit 777 and specialises in hostage rescue and counter-terrorism operations.
The last new Season 4 Operator is Weaver. Grigori Weaver has been a character in Call of Duty since the original Black Ops, and also featured in the story campaigns of both Black Ops 4 and Black Ops Cold War. Serving as a Clandestine Special Officer for the CIA, he has had a role to play in the Dark Aether storyline in more recent months. Now, he will be available as a playable Operator for the first time.
