The Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales 4K Graphic Assets Pack
“We heard you’d like to play Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales in 4K,” says CD Projekt Red; “Now you can! Download a free 4K graphic pack for Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales now!”
According to the pack’s product description on GOG.com; “This package contains a set of 4K visual assets for Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. Please note that it is designed specifically with 4K displays in mind, and will not enhance graphical quality in lower resolutions.”

Given that Thronebreaker is available for just £23.99, this new package is likely to be very popular with fans. Thronebreaker has been receiving very positive reviews since its launch, and a free 4K graphic pack is likely to be appreciated by many who have already purchased the new RPG. Indeed, it has already earned a 4.8/5 overall rating from customers on GOG.com. Although Thronebreaker obviously has a less realistic art style than The Witcher trilogy, it is still a very good-looking game in that style. Now, it should be even better for those players lucky enough to have 4K-capable displays.
For now, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is only available on PC via CD Projekt’s platform, GOG.com. However, the game will be launching on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the 4th of December; the same day that the Homecoming update will also launch for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game on consoles. There are no plans to bring the game to the Nintendo Switch, according to CD Projekt Red. Presumably, the game will also include this new 4K graphic package when the game launches on consoles.
