Tomato Temple Is Getting Another Event on August 27

Fortnite Battle Royale received a huge map change with the patch 5.30 which was released on Thursday. Tomato Town, that had been in the video game since its release in September 2017, was heavily modified and renamed to Tomato Temple. The tomatohead has appeared at the top of the temple, and it seems that it is now used as some kind of a deity within the game.

Before the patch was released, there was a small event in Tomato Town. The event included the rift which brought the tomatohead back. Players who played in season 4 probably remember that the tomatohead disappeared through the rift by the end of the season, but it was brought back and turned into something big.

According to the leak by FNBRLeaks Twitter page, there will be another event in this area. The event will happen on August 27 at 2 PM ET, although there aren’t any other details about it.

Considering that Epic Games has recently modified Tomato Town and essentially replaced it with another area, it is hard to say what will happen on August 27.

This area hadn’t been very popular, mostly because it did not have much loot. However, Tomato Temple is much better and it’s a hot landing spot. Even though this will most likely change in a week or two, we can agree that this was a good change.

It seems that Epic Games is going to bring some massive map changes before season 6 starts. Shortly after the Tomato Town change, the game developer enabled lightning strikes and made the big rift disappear. Now, we have a cube in the desert that’s moving over the island.

With less than a month until the end of the season, Fortnite Battle Royale players are expecting big things to come, and it seems that the game developer will make it happen. There is no doubt that it will be a very interesting period for players, and hopefully season 6 will be introduced in a big way!
