This weekend, Steam is running a franchise-wide Total War sale along with its usual selection of sale discounts. The sale spans most of Creative Assembly’s strategy game franchise, including both major games and their DLC. With discounts as high as 75% off on core titles, it seems like the perfect opportunity for fans to get back into the series, or complete their collection with DLC they never got around to buying.

Steam’s Total War Sale: What Discounts Are Available
This latest Total War sale spans twelve different titles on Steam, ranging from Total War: Warhammer 2 all the way to Rome: Total War and other older titles. Overall, Total War: Warhammer 2, Rome: Total War – Collection, and Rome: Total War – Alexander are all 66% off. The remaining nine titles, which include Total War: Medieval 2 – Definitive Edition, Total War: Shogun 2, Total War: Rome 2 – Emperor Edition, and more, are all 75% off.
When it comes to DLC, Creative Assembly’s latest release has three expansions currently on sale; all of the paid DLC, with the exception of Blood for the Blood God II. This includes The Queen & The Crone, Rise of the Tomb Kings, and Curse of the Vampire Coast. The first two are both 50% off, while Vampire Coast is 20% off. Being the studio’s latest DLC release, it’s no surprise that it has less of a discount. All of the Total War: Warhammer DLC is also 50% off, with the exception of Blood for the Blood God. Similarly, DLC for Total War: Attila, Total War: Rome 2, and other titles is all 66% off.
The Steam sale will last over the weekend, so anybody looking to complete their Total War collection, or simply pick up a title they’d never got around to playing, should act fast while the discounts are applied. While it’s possible that there may be another sale in the next couple of months, it’s also possible that this could be the last Total War sale before the launch of Total War: Three Kingdoms.
