Expect to See More of Total War: Three Kingdoms After Vampire Coast

With the upcoming launch of Curse of the Vampire Coast, the next DLC for Total War: Warhammer 2, Creative Assembly has been relatively quiet about Total War: Three Kingdoms of late. According to the studio’s latest monthly update, that may soon change. Once Vampire Coast launches, it sounds as though fans can expect to see much more of Three Kingdoms.

More of Total War: Three Kingdoms Will be Shown Off After Vampire Coast

Curse of the Vampire Coast is scheduled for release on the 9th of November. With its recent announcement, Creative Assembly has been focusing on the upcoming DLC over everything else; releasing character profiles and information, a faction roster video, and most recently, a showcase video for the Necrofex Colossus. However, once that DLC releases, Creative Assembly will be shifting its attention; “Vampire Coast for Warhammer II is next on the release list,” says the studio; “so no doubt you’ll have seen that this is our current marketing focus. Once Luthor Harkon and chums have set sail, we’ll be rolling out 3K content in earnest. From mid-November, you can expect to see an increasing number of videos, blogs, and let’s plays detailing campaign gameplay.”

Total War Three Kingdoms Campaign Gameplay Coming Soon

This is particularly interesting; thus far, Creative Assembly have kept the campaign gameplay of Total War: Three Kingdoms carefully under wraps. Fans have only seen a few examples of battles thus far. Between November and the end of the year, the studio will be releasing several new blogs and videos focusing on in-game diplomacy and the campaign map, as well as more battle demonstrations. In the new year, however, things will get much busier.

“In the new year,” continues Creative Assembly; “YouTubers and Press will get hands-on time with the campaign to form their own opinions, and before launch, they’ll have access to the full game. So in short, if you’re wondering where all the 3K gameplay videos are, they’re just around the corner.”
