In the past, various big-name games such as PUBG, Fortnite, Overwatch, and Call of Duty: WWII have teamed up with the Twitch Prime service to offer exclusive cosmetic loot to subscribers, and now Rainbow Six Siege has become the latest game to be brought into the fold. Between now and December, Rainbow Six Siege players who also happen to be Twitch Prime members can claim a series of new in-game item packs which contain exclusive Twitch-themed cosmetic items.
As you can see over on the Twitch Prime ‘Prime Loot’ webpage, subscribers can now claim a bundle of eight Twitch Prime loot packs for Rainbow Six Siege along with an exclusive chibi charm by linking their Twitch and Uplay accounts. The loot packs contain new Twitch-themed weapon skins, operator outfits, charms, and headgear for the operators Finka, Bandit, Hibana, and Ela. In October, four additional loot packs will become available, and an additional four will follow in November, adding up to 16 packs in total.
The fine print of the offer also stipulates that not all items will be available at the start of the promotion, which seems to suggest that more operators might be getting their own Twitch-themed gear in the future. All of the packs must be claimed by December 31 or they’ll be lost forever, though again, the fine print seems to hint that the Twitch Prime loot could eventually find its way into Siege’s Alpha Pack loot table.
If the new Twitch Prime loot wasn’t enough to pull you back into Rainbow Six Siege, perhaps the game’s recently deployed Operation Grim Sky update and its two new playable operators, Clash and Maverick, will be enough to sway you.
