A virtual fight card event is on the way to promote the new UFC 4 video game. UFC 4 Video Game Virtual Fight Card: Who’s fighting?
Some surprising names are involved in the upcoming fight card which puts UFC 4 video game under the spotlight. Idris Elba may be arguably the biggest celeb involved, as the actor has appeared in Marvel films and Luther. However, he’ll be taking on boxer Tyson Fury for bragging rights on the game. The new UFC game will feature Fury as a playable character along with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.
Several professional wrestlers are involved. Kenny Omega from the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) brand will face Lirik, a popular Twitch streamer. Meanwhile, twin sisters and retired WWE stars Brie and Nikki Bella will face off in another match.
Rapper Action Bronson (who had a song featured in the game trailer) and comedian/actor Hannibal Burress will also participate. Both should bring plenty of laughs to the event as Bronson faces cover star Jorge Masvidal and Burress takes on Max Holloway.
“I guarantee a 1st round knockout against @blessedmma on Friday night. I can’t let the real-life fighter beat me up virtually,” Burress joked in his tweet.
A total of six virtual fights will take place for the EA Sports UFC event.

When and where to watch virtual fight card
The virtual fight card featuring the UFC 4 video game officially takes place on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020. The participants will play remotely with ESPN capturing their moments. Fans can watch it when it airs live on television via ESPN 2 starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time/4:30 p.m. PT.
The event will also be streaming online via the UFC YouTube channel. Alternately, the event will be available to watch streaming online via the UFC Twitch channel here.
The UFC virtual fight card arrives just as the new mixed martial arts game from EA Sports hits consoles. It also arrives on the eve of the next MMA event, UFC 252. That will feature ratings adjustor Daniel Cormier in the main event against heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic. A win by Cormier would certainly give him the incentive to adjust some UFC 4 video game ratings.
EA Sports UFC 4 will be available for Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
