Valorant Episode 3 launched yesterday, and with, Riot released one of the largest game updates in recent months. The update includes balancing tweaks for every one of the game’s Agents, and furthermore, impacts all of its weapons as well.
Valorant Episode 3 – Weapon Mechanic Changes
To begin the Valorant Episode 3 weapon patch, Riot has implemented changes to two core mechanics. Firstly, the slowing effect caused when a player is shot has had its slow debuff reduced slightly; from 75% to 72.5%. In addition, weapon Deadzones (the speed where a player’s accuracy starts to degrade) has been reduced from 30% to 27.5%. However, this is just the beginning of the update.

All weapon types in general have had their walking inaccuracy increased. (Rifles from 1.3 to 2.0; Heavies from 0.5 to 2.4; and SMGs from 0.3 to 1.0.) The latter category has also had its running inaccuracy level increased from 2.0 to 2.5.
