Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story Looks to Be a My Hero Academia JRPG Sim for Switch, PS4, and PC

A new trailer, details, platforms, and a release date have been announced for Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story today. UK-based publisher PQube has released a ton of new info for fans of this upcoming game to enjoy. It will be releasing on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC in just a few short weeks in Europe for PS4 on September 28 while the other platforms will release worldwide on October 2.

Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story is a compelling mix of typical JRPG elements and a My Hero Academia-like simulation game. You play as the principal of an up and coming academy that is tasked with preparing the next generation of heroes, adventurers, and mages. You are able to build and manage various buildings around the school to improve the academy.

In addition, you have to make important decisions regarding the students in your school. Will you only accept the most promising students or give the less impressive ones a chance to prove themselves? Will you tell a late student off or make an exception for them? These decisions will help guide them through one of several classes.

The simulation aspect of Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story isn’t the only part of the game, though. You have the option to send your students out on quests and missions in the world. These missions can be done automatically or you can take control of the students directly and fight it out in classic action RPG gameplay.

Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story will release in just a few short weeks on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you’re in Europe and looking to get it on PS4, it will release on September 28. Everyone else can look forward to this hero-building sim RPG just a few short days later on October 2. In the meantime, check out the official My Hero Academia game that also releases next month.
