Call of Duty: Vanguard was released on November 5 and players are having a lot of fun with it. The new installment has brought several new things, but also some new problems players have to deal with. While some problems are expected in the first few weeks of the release, some of them should not be happening at all.
Balancing weapons in multiplayer games can sometimes be a challenging task. This is especially true for new games as developers need data to work with and adjust weapon effectiveness according to it. One weapon in Call of Duty: Vanguard might be nerfed very soon and that weapon is a shotgun.
The viral Call of Duty clip is absolutely insane
The Gracey Auto shotgun is one of the new weapons added with Call of Duty: Vanguard. This semi-automatic shotgun has a very fast rate of fire, which makes it very effective at close range. It turns out that this weapon can be extremely deadly in the right hands, especially on Das Haus map.
Twitter user Zexafy has demonstrated how effective this shotgun is. In his clip, which has gained over two million views on Twitter so far, the Call of Duty: Vanguard player had 25 kills in a row in just 33.3 seconds! He gained the V2 Rocket killstreak in around half a minute, which is very impressive.
As you can see in the video above, the player used the shotgun on Das Haus map, earning the killstreak in a short period of time. Several other players have managed to achieve a similar feat, but no one has done it this quickly.
Zexafy’s clip has also gone viral on TikTok where it has gained millions of views. The players posted it hoping that Activision and Sledgehammer Games nerf the shotgun and make it more balanced. Unsurprisingly, many other players were furious watching this clip. Hopefully, the game developer will balance weapons out very soon.
Other Vanguard issues
Besides the lack of weapon balance, many Call of Duty: Vanguard players have complained about audio problems. More specifically, players have complained about the sound the game makes when they get shot. Sometimes, this sound obscures other game sounds, making it very difficult to hear anything else. Considering that audio is an important part of the game, this fix should be released soon.
