Warhammer: Vermintide 2 developer Fatshark has unveiled a physical deluxe version of the hit co-op fantasy game. The Warhammer: Vermintide 2 physical deluxe edition is being produced with the help of publisher 505 Games. Even better, the physical deluxe edition is scheduled to launch in just a few months.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Physical Deluxe Edition

According to a press release from 505 Games, the physical edition will be available for PS4 and Xbox One. Along with the full game, the physical edition also includes a few extra bonuses, including exclusive content. Buyers will naturally have access to Vermintide 2’s first two DLC packs: Shadows Over Bogenhafen and Back to Ubersreik. The physical edition will also include exclusive Heroic Deeds, character skins, a portrait frame, and a Sigmar Keep Statue.
The Warhammer: Vermintide 2 physical deluxe edition will launch on June 14 at a £39.99 (roughly $50 U.S.) price point. The physical deluxe release sadly won’t include Vermintide 2’s upcoming Winds of Magic expansion.
The Winds of Magic expansion will be Vermintide 2’s biggest post-launch content drop to date. The expansion doesn’t include any new missions or maps, but it more than makes up for those omissions elsewhere. A new endless endgame mode will challenge players with distinct modifiers called “weaves.” Also, a brand new enemy faction, the Beastmen, will join the existing Skaven and Rotblood Tribe factions. Lastly, all of the game’s playable characters will receive new weapon types in the expansion.
Here’s an official description of Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s base version to give you an idea of what it’s all about:
‘Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is an epic four-player co-op first person action game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world. In this sequel to the critically acclaimed Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, the five heroes have returned to take on an even greater threat during the End Times; the combined forces of the cowardly Skaven army and the barbaric Chaos faction. Vermintide 2 challenges players like never before by expanding the intense first-person combat with a new enemy faction, 15 new career paths, talent trees, new weapons, an improved loot system and more.”
