With the long-awaited launch of Call of Duty: Warzone, it’s no surprise that the game is now attracting plenty of attention on Twitch. Seemingly to capitalise on this, Activision has launched a new set of Call of Duty: Warzone Twitch rewards, which will be available for the next few days for anybody who watches the game on the streaming platform.
How to Get the New Call of Duty: Warzone Twitch Rewards
Altogether, there are three new Call of Duty: Warzone Twitch rewards. If you want to get your hands on them, you simply need to watch the game on Twitch. Providing you watch any Warzone stream in Twitch’s Modern Warfare category, you’ll accrue time towards unlocking the rewards. Note however that you will need to fulfil a few simple prerequisites to ensure that you’re eligible for the rewards. Read on for the specific details, given below.
The first available reward, the “Airborne Commander” Shiny Emblem, will unlock after you watch 1 hour of Warzone. After 2 hours, you’ll earn a 2XP Token that lasts for an hour of gameplay. Finally, watch 3 hours on Twitch and you’ll unlock the “Cataclysmic” MP7 Weapon Blueprint, a rather useful SMG which boasts a high rate of fire. Note that these three Twitch rewards won’t be available forever. Quite the opposite in fact. You’ll only be able to unlock them until 10:00 AM PT on the 18th of March, giving you just a few days in order to do so.
In order to ensure you get these rewards, you’ll need to do a few things. Firstly, you need to have a Call of Duty account and it must be linked to your Twitch account. Note that you may need to re-link your accounts even if you’ve linked them in the past. Additionally, you’ll need to make sure you’re watching drop-eligible streams. You can identify whether a stream is eligible by the callout “drops are enabled”.
