- Battle of the Bulge. First, this map is from Battlefield 1942, and takes you to the Ardennes, Belgium. As a huge map, it has an emphasis on vehicle combat, and features a combination of forests and fields in which to fend off the German Army’s counterattack. Protect the Allied front.
- El Alamein: Next, taking you to El Alamein, Egypt, this classic map comes from Battlefield 1942 as well. It allows you to recreate the 1942 Battle of El Alamein, which featured the Germans against the British. With the Panzer Division on its way, you need to set mines.
- Arica Harbor: This map’s setting is Arica, Chile. Originally, it was featured in the game Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It features combat in what was previously a bustling port, but “is now a lethal kill zone located in the area of the world’s driest desert.” Both infantry and vehicular combat are involved in this exciting map.
- Valparaiso: This map’s location is Valparaiso, Chile, and it was originally part of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Also, you’ll be fighting along the coast and in the trees and undergrowth of the jungle.
- Caspian Border: Next, here is a map that takes you to the Turkmen-Iranian border, and which first appeared in Battlefield 3. It is “A true Battlefield classic, set in the Turkmenistan side of the Iranian border where a recon Russian force has set up camp.” Also, if you are into vehicular combat, this is the map for you.
- Noshahr Canals: Finally, one more thrilling map from Battlefield 3 available in Portal is this one that takes place in Noshahr, Iran.
