With the recent launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5, Infinity Ward released four new multiplayer maps, including one for Gunfight and one for Ground War. The first of the two new 6v6 ones is the Modern Warfare Suldal Harbor map, which takes place on the Urzikstan coast.
Modern Warfare Season 5 Maps: Suldal Harbor
“It’s Day 289 in the ongoing struggle between ex-Armistice alliance members,” writes Activision; “The fight moves to the Black Sea with a deployment to Suldal Harbor, Urzikstan. The Coalition enters from the north while the Allegiance enters from the south.”

Suldal Harbour is an all-new 6v6 multiplayer map which is now available to play in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Deemed a ‘medium’-size map by Infinity Ward, Suldal Harbor may feel smaller than it is, as the area features many narrow streets and alleys. As a result, and because most of its interior sections are very compact, close-range loadouts should excel here. However, there are a few long-range sightlines available for snipers which overlook some of the longer streets.
The Harbor’s maze-like layout of alleyways is further broken up by a wide range of cover options, from crates and low walls to shipping containers, many of which are climbable. As a result, players should always advance with caution. If you don’t, you might well walk right into a hidden opponent’s line of fire. Of course, that caution has to be tempered by speed. After all, the alleys also offer plenty of flanking opportunities for fast-moving players.

One benefit for players on Suldal Harbor is that most of the map is open to the sky. That means that there should be ample opportunities for aerial killstreaks here. Indeed, many of those narrow alleys can quickly become death-traps when targeted by Cruise Missiles, Cluster Strikes, or Precision Airstrikes. The Sentry Gun is also likely to perform well here. Certainly, it can be used to lock down an alleyway and prevent flankers from sneaking up on you. Alternatively, use it to help cover all the approaches around an objective.
