You must have already watched the Doom Eternal teaser trailer released during E3 2018. However, how many of you did you notice what was hiding in it? Doom’s official Twitter account had many fans searching for it these last three days with just a little tweet they made.
A teaser trailer of Doom Eternal, the new addition to the Doom franchise, was showcased during E3 2018. After having watched it for so many times to find out clues of the game or the monsters it is going to feature, no one cared to notice something else. It is so tiny that it passes unnoticed, especially with the speed all the captions of the teaser are passing by before our eyes.
It was until two days ago that it was hiding for good. That was when Doom’s official Twitter account made a relevant tweet, pointing out that something is there, but it is difficult to spot. An image followed the tweet from the teaser trailer and immediately had fans obsessing over what is that thing that they cannot see.
After spending some time in the tweet answers, you can also see it with your own eyes. Even though the correct answer was the first reply to the post, yet I was not sure that this is what I was missing all this time. The trailer and the following question were following the image:

This Easter egg was a kind of a love letter to the fans who have been committed to the Doom franchise all these years. However, it is something that only the fans who have been collecting Doom related items would easily see. The Doomguy collectible action figure was the one hiding, laying on one of the battlefield’s rocks alone and surrounded by flames.

The Doomguy Collectible was also a challenge players had to complete in Doom 2016. Once you have found the figurine, you have completed the challenge. Does this mean there will be another Doomguy Collectible challenge in Doom Eternal? Let’s hope it will be.
