When Does Fortnite Season 8 Start? We’re Just Days Away
Fortnite has been posting teaser images for days now. These teasers have hinted at the theme for Fortnite Season 8, and have also included a countdown to the beginning of the new season.
You can see the most recent teaser in the tweet below:

And loot the stash.

The image shows some manner of fiery beast, with this text:
Awaken beasts
Of fire and ash
Battle it out
And loot the stash.
2 days to Season 8.
Epic posted this on February 26th. That indicates that Fortnite Season 8 will start on February 28th, just as we expected. We have seen some rumors that it could be March 1st, but the tweet seems fairly clear on the matter.
Why has there been such a long wait for Fortnite Season 8 to begin? Most Fortnite seasons run for 10 weeks. Season 7 was different because of the holiday break. Epic extended the season to 12 weeks as a result.
A couple of weeks back, we posted Everything We Know About Fortnite Season 8. Most of the information, news and rumors in that guide still seem pretty solid. Evidence keeps mounting hinting that the season will feature an aquatic theme, which we now know is going to involve pirates.
So get ready to log in to Fortnite to enjoy Season 8 in just a couple days! And check our Fortnite news section regularly for fresh updates as the action unfolds!
