The Division 2 releases tomorrow on Friday, March 15, but many players are already enjoying early access and finding Hyena Keys. Of course, right now, though, players aren’t able to play. That’s because The Division 2 server status is currently in limbo. If you try to jump online, whether it be early access or what have you, you won’t be able to play.
So, what’s the deal with The Division 2 server status? When will the game be back up and running? In addition, why is the game down in the first place? Is it because of the launch tomorrow or are there other problems? Without further ado, let’s dive right in and take a look at the downtime, server status, and everything you need to know.
What Is The Division 2 Server Status?
For starters, we should let you know that there is nothing wrong with your internet connection, game, or platform of choice. Well, at least, we hope not. That’s because the game is actually offline right now. But why is this happening? Well, this is because the game is having server maintenance in preparation for the main game launch.
Initially, the server maintenance was scheduled to start about an hour ago and conclude around 30 mins or so ago. But here we are and The Division 2 server status is currently still offline. That’s because the developer has run into some unexpected issues with the upcoming patch. As such, the maintenance is being rescheduled as you read this.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft has let players know that The Division 2 server status is still offline and we don’t know when downtime will end currently. As such, be sure to check back here often and the official Division 2 Twitter page for more info on this developing story. We don’t know how long the game will be offline for now.
