Oh dear, it’s been over four months since Ni No Kuni 2 was released and yet there is still one question on everyone’s mind: where is Ni No Kuni 2’s DLC? Well, you wouldn’t be the first person to wonder that. Ever since the game was released in March, people have been looking forward to Bandai Namco providing some information on what they have to look forward to with the game’s season pass. Only there hasn’t been anything to tell, or if there has, Bandai Namco isn’t saying.
Understandably this will cause more than a few people to get angry, especially those who are already feeling frustrated that Ni No Kuni 2 is facing some game-breaking issues already. According to the website Push Square, the PSN store listing states that season pass purchasers will gain access to the DLC as soon as available. This includes the chance to “explore new dungeons, get exclusive rewards, and enjoy a brand new story chapter with hours of additional gameplay at a discount.”

The way this is worded would allude to more than a few pieces of DLC dropping together, such as more than a few maps for dungeons as well as another chapter that’ll allow players to explore the world of Evan, Roland, Tani and the rest of the gang once again. Though it hasn’t been indicated when that sort of content will be available, if ever.
What makes this worse is that fans have reached out to Bandai Namco’s Twitter accounts, only to have been ignored completely. It has led to some feeling as though Bandai have ‘taken the money and run’, though some still hold onto hope that they’ll have news from Level 5 and Bandai soon.
Whether that is true remains to be seen, but what we do know is that fans are impatient and Bandai Namco’s silence only seems to be making the situation worse.
