Anthem is out right now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. With it, there is a long main story that you can complete. As you go about the main story, there are segments in the game that require you to find materials. The earliest example of this is collecting Anthem Ember pieces. However, the game doesn’t let you know where to find the pieces.
In this guide for Anthem, we are going to go over the Anthem Ember pieces location. This will help you find this annoying material. The only hint that we get from the game is that you should go looking for the pieces in the Freeplay mode. But that doesn’t really tell us much since the game has a huge open world to explore. Here’s where to go.
Where to Collect Anthem Ember Pieces
As we said, you are going to want to queue up for the Freeplay mode. This will send you to the open world where you can explore to your heart’s content. You need to collect three of the ember pieces in total. As soon as you leave Fort Tarsus, there is a crashed ship up ahead and to your right.
This ship will occasionally spawn an event you can complete. Behind it in the direction of the fort, there are some rocks you can follow to a hidden dungeon of sorts called The Mandible. If you head inside there, it is a dungeon filled with enemies and materials.
We found three materials available for harvest in there and they not only gave us normal materials but one piece of Ember each. We recommend that you head here and do the same but we suspect that most dungeons will give you the pieces as well. For more on Anthem, be sure to check out our day one patch notes.
