Will Niantic Announce Pokemon GO 4th Generation On September 10th?

Pokemon GO 4th Generation has been the center of attention for all fans of the popular mobile game throughout the summer. Niantic has been pretty cryptic about the matter, however, there are hints indicating that the company might announce the new Pokemon in just a few days.

Over the past week, the new Field Research challenge has been available, asking from players all around the world to complete several quests in order to unlock certain bonuses. This is a standard procedure, that has happened many times in the past, however, there is a catch.

Niantic has promised fans that if the requirements for the challenge were met, they would announce an “Ultra Bonus” reward. The same theme has been seen in the future, in June to be precise, and we can’t wait for September 10th to arrive so that we find out what this “Ultra Bonus” reward is.

If the bonus is the announcement of Pokemon GO 4th Generation, then Niantic mas have had the completion of the field research challenge for certain. We can’t know what would happen if the event was a failure, but the outcome is in our favor this time.

Until then, there’s a double Stardust event going on, so anytime you catch or hatch Pokémon you’ll earn more Stardust that usual. The same happens for Raid Boss battles as well so make sure to stack up some Stardust just to be sure you have enough for when Pokemon GO 4th Generation releases.

Undeniably, it will be a disappointment if Niantic doesn’t announce the Pokemon GO 4th Generation on September 10th. We’ve been talking about leaks and hints and datamine findings for a couple of months now, so it’s only safe for fans to expect that the launch of the new generation must be just around the corner.
