Football tournaments are on their way to World of Tanks to accompany the already released Tank Soccer Mode. Apart from the competition they will bring, there will also be some great prizes for the players who will rank high. And wait until you here the rarest of them all.
Being able to score some goals with tanks is already an exciting thing. But being able to compete against others and win prizes is more exciting than that. Wargaming did not lose a second and announced the addition of tournaments to World of Tanks’ Tank Soccer Mode 2018.
The tournaments will take place every week starting on June 18. However, a new stage will begin every Tuesday. Thirty-two teams will be able to participate in the finals, but only twenty-four of them will qualify for the gold cup tournament. You will not have to apply for the competition. All you have to do is participate in fifteen matches with one of the three vehicles available.
These competitive matches would not be compelling enough if they did not have prizes for the players who will participate. One of the best rewards, players who will rank first in any leaderboard will receive, is a unique football featuring Gianluigi “Gigi” Buffon’s signature. Also, if you manage to finish as one of the best players in the tournament, you will be made Captain. Then you will be asked to form a side and compete in the Silver Cup.
Players who will make it in the Silver Cup will earn a t-shirt with Buffon’s signature, special Medals and more. For the players who will make it in the Gold Cup, Wargaming did not reveal the goodies they have prepared for them. However, if you want to make it in the Gold Cup, you should make sure that you have a team ready to play side by side with you.
