World of Tanks: Mercenaries is coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles on June 26 and apart from the difficulty it will involve, it is bringing some big changes with it. Here’s the three biggest changes we will see in World of Tanks: Mercenaries.
Starting with the coolest one, the chance you get of customizing your own tank is clearly the most exciting change the new update is bringing. We already knew the new variety of tanks coming in Mercenaries but we did not know that you will be able to customize your tanks as well as the soldiers in war, too. It will allow you to choose between a ragtag team of characters with new tank designs.
The second most important change coming with Mercenaries are the contracts. You will have missions based on those paid contracts, which you will have to take on yourselves. However, the rewards of these missions will be tank upgrades you will need to survive in this World War 2 war zone, the alternate reality of this new story World of Tanks brings with its new update.
Moreover, the new tanks will be completely different from the ones you were used to. Mercenaries brings some American caterpillar treads and Russian cannons on German panzers along with some imagined vehicle combinations. These tanks are more suitable to this new alternative timeline and they are going to be 680 different versions of tanks.
World of Tanks: Mercenaries is going to be released simultaneously for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PS4 but it will not be playable for PC so keep in mind that this new update is going to come only for consoles. It is scheduled to be released on June 26 and it is the first expansion that is entirely developed for consoles.
