WWE 2K Battlegrounds, PGA Tour 2K21 Digital Editions on Sale
Two of the popular sports video games from 2K are on a limited-time sale as of Monday. The WWE 2K Battlegrounds and PGA Tour 2K21 can each be purchased for a special discount. That gives fans of professional wrestling games and/or golf simulation games an opportunity to add to their collection, if they haven’t already.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds on limited-time sale
As with most video games, those who don’t purchase the game right away can usually wait for a few weeks or months to pick it up on sale. That was the case with Madden 21 and NBA 2K21 Prime Day deals we saw last week. Gamers were able to pick up those games for at least $20 off their original prices.
In the case of WWE 2K Battlegrounds, those who want to grab a copy can get the game for 25 percent off as of Monday, October 19. The deal applies to digital copies of the game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC on Steam.
With the deal, gamers can pick up either a Standard Edition or Deluxe Edition digital copy of WWE 2K Battlegrounds for the aforementioned consoles. The sale is scheduled to run for just a week until October 29, 2020.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a newer type of game when it comes to the WWE 2K lineup. It features a large roster of WWE superstars, but more of an arcade fighter type of game with over-the-top moves, combos, and animations.
There is the option to create a custom superstar for use in the game and then progress through a story mode. The game also offers online play to compete against others, as well as free bonus DLC content. Gamers can earn in-game currency although they may also use the option to purchase it.
PGA Tour 2K21 also available for a discounted price
In addition to WWE 2K Battlegrounds going on sale, so did 2K’s PGA Tour 2K21. It’s the latest pro golf simulation game that launched back in late August 2020 and features Justin Thomas as the cover star. The game also brings a number of pro golfers into the mix.
Gamers can take their customized MyPlayer into tournaments and compete against them on some of the Tour’s famous courses. There are ways to earn currency in-game or purchase it, just like Battlegrounds. There’s also online play available and a robust Course Creator to make all sorts of unique places to play golf. One clever designer even created a mini-golf course.
PGA Tour 2K21 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC Steam. It has a 15 percent discount on Monday, also for the Digital Edition of the game on the aforementioned platforms.
The game has a lot of changes when compared to previous games in The Club lineup, but brings a relatively realistic swing to competing on the virtual landscape. Just like WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the PGA Tour 2K21 sale is only going on until October 26, 2020, giving customers a week to scoop up the savings.
