WWE 2K Battlegrounds Roster to Add Six Superstars Including Tyler Breeze, Christian, and Dana Brooke
A total of six new superstars are coming to the WWE 2K Battlegrounds roster in the coming week or so. As of Wednesday, three superstars including Tyler Breeze arrived in the arcade fighter game based on WWE. Three more superstars including “Captain Charisma” Christian will arrive next week. Here are more details on the upcoming release along with the official trailer, and news about some Royal Rumble promotions.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds roster: Trailer arrives featuring fourth wave of superstars
With WWE 2K Battlegrounds, gamers have access to a wide variety of superstars from the past and present of professional wrestling. That includes all-time greats like Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and The Undertaker. There are also present-day stars such as Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Sasha Banks, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and many more.
The WWE 2K Battlegrounds is adding another six superstars to the growing roster. On Wednesday, February 27th, the latest additions include the late, great Chyna, former WWE superstar Mark Henry, and current star Tyler Breeze. Of those superstars, Breeze is unlocked while the others require a purchase to unlock. In addition to those three wrestling stars, there will also be a Hell in a Cell Arena available.
On Wednesday, February 3rd, three more superstars arrive for the roster. Dana Brooke will be an unlocked addition to the roster. Gamers will need to unlock the new Christian and Otis superstars by getting in-game currency to purchase them.

Game roster constantly expanding
The WWE 2K Battlegrounds roster initially featured around 70 or more superstars that gamers had access to. Some were unlocked at the start of the game, while others required gamers to earn and use Virtual Currency in order to unlock them.
Since the game has been out, the developers continue adding more superstars to the growing roster. In November, superstars such as Goldberg, Batista, Ultimate Warrior, Eddie Guerrero, and Trish Stratus joined the game. In December, the roster added Ric Flair, Sting, Diesel, Razor Ramon, and Sheamus, among others.
The game also added two fictional superstars based on professional sports stars. On November 24, an unlocked “Gronkster” joined the roster, based on NFL star Rob Gronkowski. On December 2nd, it was unlocked “Laheem” Lillard arriving in the game, based on NBA 2K21 cover star Damian Lillard.
WWE Royal Rumble Pack, Locker Code
The WWE’s Royal Rumble event takes place on January 31, 2021. The annual pay-per-view features over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble matches featuring the men and the women. The winner of each Royal Rumble match typically gets to challenge a major champion for their belt at the WrestleMania pay-per-view.
In conjunction with the epic event, WWE 2K Battlegrounds has a new Royal Rumble Pack available for purchase at the in-game Store. It includes The Rock, Becky Lynch, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
In addition to that, there will be a special WWE 2K Battlegrounds locker code arriving during the Royal Rumble PPV on Sunday. That locker code will allow gamers who use it to get 500 Golden Bucks for purchasing in-game content.
