It’s Friday, October 5th and that means that WWE 2K19 early access is official. Many gamers are getting their first hands-on experience with the brand new professional wrestling game. In addition, there are a handful of WWE superstars who are reacting or interacting with fans about it. Also, the creative gaming community has unveiled one of the first superstars that others can add to their roster with NXT’s Aliyah.
WWE 2K19 Early Access Details for Friday
On Friday, WWE and 2K put out a press release to announce the arrival of the WWE 2K19 early access. The release indicates that the WWE 2K19 game is now available for Sony’s PlayStation 4, the Microsoft Xbox One family of devices, and Windows PCs. It also highlights all of the exciting features for the new game including Story Mode, Showcase Mode, as well as the bonus playable superstars: Ronda Rousey and Rey Mysterio.
Today I’m stylin’ and profilin’ even more than usual. The #WWE2K19 Wooooo! Edition is out with an @OriginalFunko figure, replica @WWE HOF ring, a piece of one of my robes, and much more. WOOOOO! https://t.co/jALe3QHy2C #ad pic.twitter.com/isnSi2Tsrg

The WWE 2K19 early editions include a special Ric Flair Wooooo! Collector’s Edition as well as a Deluxe Edition. These each had a higher price tag than the standard version of the game. Gamers were able to pre-order these special versions to receive early access today. Other gamers will wait until October 9 when the standard edition finally arrives for everyone else.
WWE Superstars React to 2K19 Early Access
With the 2K19 early access release, there are several WWE superstars who are active on social media regarding the new game. The @WWEGames account has been retweeting several of them. For example, WWE Raw star Liv Morgan from The Riott Squad tweeted to fans asking for them to send her photos of her in the game.
So who’s playing as L I V in 2k? Send me your pics 💙👅

Zelina Vega, who is a manager and wrestler aligned with Andrade “Cien” Almas on SmackDown Live, got in on the fun too. She joked about the Big Head Mode for her superstar on a screenshot from the game. It also looks like based on the screenshots she has claimed the WWE SmackDown Women’s title (in that person’s game).
HaHa not that much different 💁🏽♀️ https://t.co/7eT70EGkGL

The Big Head Mode is one of the fun new aspects of this game where the superstar’s head is enormous, as seen above. It sorta conjures up memories of NBA Jam arcade-style gameplay. To unlock this special mode, gamers will need to beat the Andre’s Ascent Tower challenge within the game.
WWE 2K19 Early Access Brings Superstar Creations
One of the great aspects of many games is the ability to create customized superstars. It works well especially in a game like this where some superstars aren’t available on the WWE 2K19 roster. At least one NXT superstar left off this year’s roster is now available. One gamer has already created a downloadable version of NXT’s Aliyah for others to download. Based on the images @IIconics uploaded, she bears a striking resemblance to her real-life look.
According to the WWE 2K19 account’s retweet, other gamers can find this downloadable Aliyah at the Community Creations section (for PS4 only). Searchable tags for the download include “Aliyah” and “LatrellGames.” The creative gamer also said expect to see more on the way, so their account may be worth a follow for future creations. Perhaps NXT Champion Tomasi Ciampa is on the way?
