Gaming channel produces WWE 2K19 Signature Championship Celebrations video
On Saturday (May 11), WWE 2K19 tweeted out that they have a brand new top 10 video for fans to watch. It’s great not only for fans of the video game but also those who have followed WWE over the years. There are 10 championship moments in the video, from as early back as The Ultimate Warrior’s title win all the way up to “The Man” Becky Lynch claiming both women’s titles at WrestleMania 35 last month.
Other stars featured in the video include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Randy Orton, and New Day. Each of these WWE superstars has captured a few championships in their careers and their celebrations have become iconic moments. One has to wonder if WWE 2K20 might add a special “Moments” feature in the new wrestling video game to help fans progress through career moments and relive historic title matches.

Amongst the 10 moments featured are also two different championship moments involving The Undertaker. One of those involves him celebrating with Kane as The Brothers of Destruction captured the tag team titles. The other is an all-time great in which Taker kneels down in the ring on one knee and celebrates with the championship belt.
Daniel Bryan is also featured in the top 10 as he leads the crowd in “YES!” chants with his two championship belts. Bryan was a major part of WWE 2K19 through the game’s returning Showcase Mode. In that particular part of the title, gamers are able to play through career moments, including his major championship matches. Interestingly, enough the 2K19 cover star AJ Styles is not featured, although the man he defeated in one of his title reigns is.
As mentioned, Becky Lynch is the most recent superstar winning titles that the WWE 2K19 gameplay video showcases. There is already an early rumor that Becky Lynch will be the WWE 2K20 cover athlete. It seems to make sense based on the fact that Lynch made major history with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey. At WrestleMania 35 the three ladies were part of the first-ever women’s match to be the main event for a WrestleMania. Lynch would become the first female to grace the cover of a WWE 2K title.
While there may be some major stars missing from the video, the top 10 championship celebrations will be a nice stroll down memory lane for wrestling fans.
