The anticipation continues to build for WWE 2K19 and a new video shows another exciting aspect of the game. Gamers will get a very unique experience when they play the new WWE 2K19 MyCareer mode. That’s because the particular feature of the game will have fully-voiced characters (including WWE superstars). A brand new video trailer gives the sights and sounds that gamers will soon be experiencing. There’s also a look at some of the fictitious angles that will be a part of the career mode.
WWE 2K19 MyCareer Mode Video Trailer
Just last week, WWE 2K fans saw a new gameplay trailer called “The Phenomenal One.” It included a look at Bray Wyatt’s House of Horror match, Matt Hardy’s Ultimate Deletion match, as well as multiple superstars in action. However, an aspect of the game that wasn’t shown as much was 2K19’s special career mode. On Thursday (Sept. 20), 2K Sports revealed their brand new WWE 2K19 MyCareer mode video via Twitter (below).
As fans watch the new MyCareer trailer, they’ll now hear the voices of popular WWE superstars that will be featured in the new game. That includes WWE head honcho Triple H, who seems like he plays an important part in the mode. There’s also Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Matt Hardy, and of course, the customized character that players control.
The addition of voices is a standout feature as previous versions of the game simply used captions. Now, the customized character cuts promos in the ring or backstage and meets up with various superstars along the way who speak to him.
WWE 2K19 MyCareer Mode Details
The latest 2K19 MyCareer mode features a customized superstar that the gamer creates. That character will move through a specific story to try to advance towards the main roster and win a major championship. However, he’ll have plenty of adversity to deal with.
From the video trailer above, the superstar is from a fictional independent wrestling organization called BCW. In one promo from the game, he claims Triple H is trying to stop him “every step of the way.” Security guards rush the ring, and “The Game” himself gets involved. It seems similar to Triple H meddling in Daniel Bryan’s attempt to get to the top that took place years ago.
In the trailer, viewers also see a mysterious character wearing a red mask (below). That mystery superstar seems to be working along with Triple H. It’s possible this is a completely new character or a current WWE superstar who put the mask on as part of the story.
Nonetheless, it appears to be a fun ride, as gamers will control their own superstar through matches, promos, and other segments including random attacks. The voices in this mode will give an extra aspect of realism that previous WWE titles have been missing.
The special mode is in all versions of the new WWE 2K19 video game on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of the game arrive on October 5th. The standard version arrives on October 9th.
