WWE 2K19 NXT TakeOver 25 Predictions: Breeze vs. Dream, Adam Cole vs. Johnny Gargano Match Sim Results
Plenty of professional wrestling fans will be watching the WWE Network on Saturday (June 1) to see which superstars pick up big wins and leave with the titles. The latest show, WWE’s NXT TakeOver 25, will feature all four of the titles on the line. That includes Shayna Baszler’s Women’s Championship and the vacant NXT Tag Team Championship. We ran a simulation for the latter of these matches, but now we’ve got two of the bigger bouts on the card. Here are some WWE 2K19 NXT TakeOver 25 predictions based on match simulations.
WWE 2K19 NXT TakeOver 25 Predictions: Tyler Breeze vs. Velveteen Dream
The match that has many fans talking about will feature the NXT North American Championship on the line. Fan-favorite Velveteen Dream will have his title on the line against returning NXT superstar Tyler Breeze. It’s unknown if Breeze’s Fashion Police tag partner Fandango might show up, but that could make things interesting.
We put the match to the test using a WWE 2K19 NXT TakeOver 25 simulation. Both Tyler Breeze and Velveteen Dream are part of the WWE 2K19 roster. Our sim features a generic NXT TakeOver arena we downloaded from Community Creations with the location set to Hartford, Connecticut. Tonight’s event will take place sort of down the road in Bridgeport.
Based on the WWE 2K19 NXT TakeOver results above, could we see a changing of the championship? We already saw a new team claim the NXT Tag Team Championship in our previous TakeOver simulation results. It’s quite possible that Breeze will also claim the newer NXT title.
Main event: Adam Cole vs. Johnny Gargano for NXT Championship
The expectation from fans is that this particular match will close out Saturday night’s NXT TakeOver 25 event. It features two more fan favorites with The Undisputed Era’s Adam Cole challenging current NXT Champion Johnny Gargano. Cole has never held the top prize on the roster, but has been a part of the tag team title run and had the inaugural North American Championship reign. Gargano is a former NXT Tag Team and North American Champion as well.
Gargano has held the NXT Championship belt for a reign of 57 days and counting. It seems premature that his title reign will come to an end so fast but Cole could be ready to get his turn. Both of these superstars are a part of WWE 2K19’s original roster, although the previous champion, Tommaso Ciampa was not included. So it appears one title will change hands and another is going to stay put. It’s going to be an interesting event nonetheless, as WWE looks to put on their first major show since AEW’s Double or Nothing excited fans. In addition to these matches, there’s also the tag team ladder match, women’s championship, and Matt Riddle vs. Roderick Strong.
