The WWE 2K19 video game is right around the corner, as the professional wrestling title hits consoles within the next week. Gamers have already seen what the 2K19 gameplay looks like, the new modes available, and of course, the superstar ratings. Debates have been raging on about certain wrestlers getting too high or too low of a rating. Here are five WWE 2K19 ratings we feel are a bit too low ahead of the release.
WWE 2K19 Ratings: AJ Styles 91
“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles has been with WWE for what feels like an eternity but it’s only been 2-1/2 years. During this time, he’s put together a stretch of great accomplishments. That includes winning the WWE Championship twice. He’s currently on a 327-plus days reign and his two reigns rank him No. 12 all-time for longest combined reigns. Just above him on the list? The late Macho Man Randy Savage.

Meanwhile, wrestling purists will be delighted to see Styles ranks a few points above John Cena, but unhappy he’s a notch below Roman Reigns (92) and Lesnar (93). Perhaps Styles should be a 92 just like Reigns, based on his success in the ring. His track record over the years as a wrestling icon speaks for itself.
WWE 2K19 Ratings: Andre the Giant 87
How would Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns fare in a match against Andre the Giant? Sure, Lesnar has fought big men in the Octagon and WWE, but nobody quite like Andre the Giant. Reigns has battled Braun Strowman, but would he be able to conquer Andre? While The Giant never really had a major title run, he won it once, only to hand over to Ted “The Million Dollar Man” Dibiase. The big man is deserving of a higher-rating for sure. After all, they named a WrestleMania battle royal after him and created a trophy in his likeness.
WWE 2K19 Ratings: Braun Strowman 89

The same might be said about “The Monster Among Men,” who not only is deserving of a rating boost in this game but a title in WWE. Strowman has gone toe-to-toe with Reigns and Lesnar in some intense battles. He’s shown his brute force and power on a level like no other, dominating many opponents in the ring. If and when he finally wins the WWE or Universal title, he may get that proper game rating.
WWE 2K19 Ratings: Asuka 84
Asuka’s rating is a real head-scratcher, although if it the rating is based on main roster “success,” that could play a part. She won the first-ever WWE Women’s Royal Rumble this past year. She failed in her attempt to defeat Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s title, though. Still, it was her run during WWE NXT that should give Asuka much better in the 2K19 superstar ratings. She held the WWE NXT Women’s Championship for a staggering 510 days with an unprecedented match winning streak during that time.
WWE 2K19 Ratings: Kairi Sane 79
How about the current NXT Champion, Kairi Sane? She’s held onto the women’s strap for 42 days now, which isn’t anywhere near the past three champions’ reigns. However, she also defeated Shayna Baszler to win this title. Baszler holds a higher 81 for her rating. The winner of the inaugural Mae Young Women’s tournament certainly deserves at least that number as well.

The good news is that WWE fans will soon get to put all these WWE 2K19 ratings to the test. In addition, they can create dream matches for all of the above against other top stars. The WWE 2K19 game officially arrives on Oct. 4 for Deluxe/Collector’s editions or Oct. 9 for the standard edition.
