WWE 2K19 Ratings Arrive For New Superstars, Lana Unhappy With Her Look

As of Friday, professional wrestling fans learned of even more playable superstars for the latest WWE 2K19 roster. With over 100 playable superstars announced, fans are also learning about 2K19 player ratings. Ratings for stars like AJ Styles, Undisputed Era, Braun Strowman, and Finn Balor are out. Some of the other WWE 2K19 ratings for new superstars are now available.

Among those new superstars is one of WWE’s power couples, Rusev and Lana. They proudly announced their involvement in the game on the live stream “reveal show.” The Bulgarian Brute and Ravishing Russian have been official hosts for the roster reveals for this year’s game so they had plenty to celebrate when they announced themselves. In fact, it marks Lana’s in-ring debut in a WWE 2K game. However, she still seems to have some early gripes after the fact, and they are valid.

Lana calls out her WWE 2K19 rating & look

As of late Saturday into early Sunday morning, Lana (real name CJ Perry) has been active on her Twitter. The outspoken women’s star criticized her playable superstar’s look for the game. In particular, Lana called out the game creators for giving her “short hair” in the game and ring attire she’s never worn in a WWE match (or in-ring appearance).

Lana didn’t stop there, though. In addition to calling out her “look,” she also doesn’t seem to all that happy with her rating. Lana holds a 70 rating and she is blaming on that for the character not being the real her. In fact, she made a comparison to an infamous figure skater who some may call a “heel.” She’s right, though, based on the photo shoot she was part of for WWE.

Based on Lana’s tweet, she isn’t convinced that this is what her final playable superstar is going to look like in WWE 2K19. There have been fan debates on Twitter already, with some heated discussions going down. Basically, Lana doesn’t wear her hair in that style or use that outfit to the ring for the WWE.

That particular character for the game is based on a WWE photo shoot where various superstars pose for Academy Award-nominated films. In Lana’s shoot, she was posing for a mock of “I, Tonya” which was a movie based on Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding’s attack on her competitor Nancy Kerrigan.

Rusev tweets about WWE 2K19 ratings

In addition to Lana, her husband Rusev received an official WWE 2K 19 rating. Rusev will be an 84 for the new game. It’s not a terrible rating, although Rusev retweeted the news and called it “all political,” as he assured fans not to worry. At the very least, “Rusev Day” will be a part of the game for his fans to enjoy.

In addition to Rusev and Lana, one other superstar’s rating is known. Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler received an 81 rating for the game. She’s didn’t tweet about it just yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising if she has a gripe with her rating, rather than the look. Still, the superstar who defeated her for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship has a 79 rating.

Fans are likely to see more WWE 2K19 ratings revealed over the weekend and into next week. It should be interesting to see which stars end up with ratings in the 90s and close to the 100 level. Early predictions include Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Charlotte Flair, but surprises are possible!
