WWE 2K20 Entrance Video: Buddy Murphy Returns to 2K Roster With Popular Sounds
The latest in the line of WWE 2K20 entrance video reveals has arrived. It’s none other than “The Best Kept Secret” Buddy Murphy. He becomes the second WWE superstar to have an entrance released for fans to check out following Samoa Joe’s 2K20 video. So far, it appears the fans are happy with Buddy Murphy’s entrance too, but it’s based more on the audio than the visuals.

First and foremost, he’s back in the game after an absence from the original roster in several WWE 2K titles. Buddy Murphy, real name Matthew Adams, is currently working for the WWE SmackDown roster after appearing in NXT and 205 Live. He’s a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and also an NXT Tag Team Champion. If that isn’t enough, he drew the envy of many fans when he became engaged to current WWE women’s division member Alexa Bliss.
In his new entrance video, fans get to see the brand new animation and visuals involved with the WWE 2K20 superstar’s arrival to the ring. However, it’s several of the sounds of the video that have the fans excited. In particular, Buddy Murphy’s old theme song is used rather than his current one. In addition, the WWE fans in the arena can be heard yelling out “One fall!” after the ring announcer tells everyone that the match is for “one fall.” That’s a popular callout amongst WWE fans, and it seems to be a welcome addition to the new WWE 2K20 video game.
Murphy made his video game debut back in WWE 2K16 and returned for 2K17. He has been MIA for the last several editions, though. So far, there’s no indication what rating Buddy Murphy has in the WWE 2K20 game. However, he’s now on the main roster and should have a decent rating of possibly an 80 or higher.
