The WWE 2K20 roster reveal has continued to arrive on a daily basis with new superstars added to the total list. With the game under two weeks away, gamers are starting to see some of the superstars who will make a debut in 2K20, or return after a hiatus. Let’s take a look at some of the big confirmations for the game, so far including several NXT superstars that recently arrived.
WWE 2K20 roster reveal confirms returns, debuts
With the arrival of the WWE 2K20 gameplay trailer, gamers not only saw the debut of Bray Wyatt’s new character The Fiend but several other popular stars. NXT UK women’s competitor Toni Storm and former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will both be part of WWE 2K20. Storm is debuting in the game while Ciampa returns after being left off last year’s roster.
Two other newcomers to the game from NXT will be Matt Riddle and Mia Yim, confirmed by WWE 2K on Wednesday (Oct. 9). Both Riddle and Yim joined WWE NXT back in 2018. Yim was previously in TNA Impact Wrestling and competed in the Mae Young tournament. Riddle was part of UFC, Bellator, and the independent wrestling circuit ahead of WWE.
Fans also know that specific editions of WWE 2K20 will include playable superstars Hulk Hogan and Chyna. While both have previously appeared in video games, this marks the first time Chyna is in a 2K title. It also marks Hogan’s return to the game after he last appeared in WWE 2K15. Mick Foley aka “Mankind” is also one of the additional superstars returning with them after a hiatus last year. A different version of The Rock is also with them but he was in 2K19.
So who all is new or making a big return for 2K20? Here’s a list so far:
- Chyna
- Hulk Hogan
- Keith Lee
- Mankind
- Mark Andrews
- Mark Henry
- Matt Riddle
- Mia Yim
- Rhea Ripley
- Tommaso Ciampa
- Toni Storm
- Trent Seven
Based on the latest roster shown at 2K’s website, some of last year’s DLC superstars will be part of the 2K20 main roster. That includes Lacey Evans, Maria Kanellis, Mike Kanellis, as well as the Viking Raiders Ivar and Erik. 2K has yet to reveal some of the other DLC superstars for the game, but they have appeared elsewhere.
In addition, Jerry “The King” Lawler and other legends popped up in the gameplay trailer, so they seem like they’ll make a return to the roster.
