WWE 2K20 Trailer Behind the Scenes Videos Spotlight Cover Stars Roman Reigns & Becky Lynch
With WWE SummerSlam 2019 arriving this Sunday, the promotional push for the new 2K20 video game is in full swing. Just this past week, pro wrestling fans got a first look at the WWE 2K20 trailer and gameplay videos. Now, there’s a special trailer behind the scenes video which has arrived to show what the ad involved. In addition, 2K20’s cover stars gave more thoughts about being on the front of the game. They also received recent praise from WWE’s Seth Rollins and Mr. Vince McMahon.
WWE 2K20 trailer gives behind the scenes, bloopers, and more
The new behind the scenes video for the WWE 2K20 trailer brings bloopers and insights from the superstars who are in the commercial. The trailer featured a number of current superstars and legends, as well as manager Paul Heyman. Many stars are visible in the 2K20 commercial, but if a viewer blinks they may miss a few.
A number of superstars including Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch talk about what went into the commercial. Stone Cold Steve Austin provides the jokes in the behind the scenes video. There’s a great segment with Austin putting over Hulk Hogan’s improv acting skills.
It’s revealed that the commercial was shot at Glen Cove, New York’s spacious Woolworth Estate. The ad brings a cocktail party theme involving stars and legends. There’s also tributes with an Ultimate Warrior ice sculpture, Roddy Piper statue, and framed photos of late WWE stars including Eddie Guerrero and Macho Man.
It made perfect sense that the idea was to have a cocktail party consisting of mostly male WWE superstars and legends. That’s because the biggest entrance of them all is “The Man” Becky Lynch who drops down, breaking through the glass ceiling to join the party.
She appears on the cover alongside Roman Reigns, both of whom are getting plenty of praise from fellow superstars. Reigns calls Becky breaking that glass ceiling in the trailer, “a perfect metaphor for what she’s done this past year.”
Vince McMahon, Seth Rollins praise cover stars
The WWE 2K20 cover stars are continuing to receive praise from many of their fellow superstars about the accomplishment. However, some of the biggest praise that arrived came courtesy of WWE head honcho Vince McMahon who tweeted to congratulate the new game’s cover athletes.
Seth Rollins is Roman Reigns’ friend from The Shield and NXT days. He also has been dating Becky Lynch and that relationship was featured on WWE programming. The two have wrestled a few matches as tag team partners. Becky also gave Seth an assist in his pay-per-view main event win against Baron Corbin when Lacey Evans wasn’t playing fair.
In his tweet praising Becky and Roman on Thursday, Seth said, “The two most deserving humans I know. Leaders of the industry and pushing our business forward.”

Becky Lynch will defend her Raw Women’s Championship versus Natalya this Sunday for WWE’s SummerSlam 2019 in Toronto, Canada. The Man is the favorite to retain her title belt as one might expect, even though the match is in Natalya’s home country.
Lynch appears in a quick one-minute clip to give her thoughts on being the first female cover star for the WWE 2K franchise.
