WWE 2K20 Unveils Full Roster of Playable Superstars As The Fiend Invades YouTube Reveal

On Thursday, October 10, WWE 2K20 finally let fans know of the major information they’d been waiting for. The complete WWE 2K20 roster reveal was unveiled in a special YouTube video. It featured Smosh Games, a YouTube channel with over seven million subscribers. In addition, several WWE superstars stopped by including New Day and Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend.

Smosh Games gives WWE 2K20 roster reveal

The Smosh Games crew provided their vlog trip to WWE SmackDown where they got to hang out backstage with New Day. That’s where the WWE 2K20 roster reveal began as they unveiled the Legends in the new game. That includes Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Jerry “The King” Lawler, The Rock, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Razor Ramon, and the late Eddie Guerrero.

Several female superstars were named after that with Nikki Cross, Zelina Vega, Io Shirai, Ronda Rousey, as well as Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Molly Holly. As far as current roster members, they re-confirmed Tommaso Ciampa. They also announced AJ Styles, Matt Riddle, and the original Bray Wyatt of The Wyatt Family.

Of course, that caused an interesting disruption in the video reveal as Firefly Fun House arrived to interrupt. Check out the 6:30 mark of the video for that, as well as a special appearance from Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt goes on to reveal the already revealed special characters coming to the WWE 2K20 Originals Bump in the Night. That includes Aleister Black, Mandy Rose, Nikki Cross, and Bray Wyatt in various monster forms.

On a side note, a screenshot revealing part of that mode also surfaced online from YouTuber Chris Denker. He is also promising to have gameplay footage soon.

Who is missing from the game?

Fans were also wanting for certain superstars to be included in WWE 2K20, but unfortunately, some were left out, or forgotten. That’s especially true with the stable known as Forgotten Sons as only Jaxson Ryker is included by Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler are not. There’s no Dean Ambrose or Chris Jericho, but who really expected WWE 2K would include them after their fresh start with the competing AEW?

Community members are also noticing that Jacqueline, Ivory, and Alundra Blayze are missing after their 2K19 appearances. In addition, there’s no Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly or Victoria. As some have pointed out, it seems like quite an oversight with the way the Women’s Evolution is being spotlighted for the game.

Other superstars that appear to be left off the roster include Lio Rush, Walter, Aliyah, and Vanessa Borne. Some gamers are also noticing that legends including Mr. Perfect, Vader, Lex Luger, Bam Bam Bigelow, Rick Rude, Tatanka, Psycho Sid, and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine were removed after appearing in 2K19.

Fans are hoping for some sort of DLC, but that remains to be seen with WWE 2K20. It’s possible that the split with Yuke’s hindered just how much of a roster they could create. However, the community usually comes up with some great CAWs of their own when it comes to filling in all of the missing superstars.
