You Can Play Halo 5 For Free This Weekend on Xbox One

Microsoft is often giving Xbox One players the opportunity to play games for free for a limited amount of time. This time around, Xbox One is getting Halo 5 for free this weekend. Xbox Live Gold members can download and play the game until the offer expires.

Known as Microsoft Free Play Days, the limited time offer gives players of Xbox One Halo 5 for free on Saturday and Sunday. However, you’ll need to have Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to access it. If you do, then head on the Xbox One store. There, you can find Halo 5 under a price tag of $0 and you’ll be able to download it right away.

Furthermore, Microsoft is adding a double XP feature to the game for the entire weekend. This means that you not only play Halo 5 for free but you also level up faster during that period. The double XP period has started before holidays and will last until the Holiday Fiesta and Castle Wars rotation.

As we already know, Halo Infinite is a straight sequel to Halo 5, yet it will follow Master Chief in another adventure.
