For a lot of gamers, major outlays of cash are on the horizon. You may be planning on pre-ordering the PlayStation 5. At that point, you’re going to want some next gen games to play on it. So, that means pulling out your wallet for even more expenses. But did you know that you can save on PS5 Ubisoft games by doing some early shopping?
Here is How to Save on PS5 Ubisoft Games
Ubisoft plans to make its PS5 games $60, at least for now. That is less pricey than the $70 that some other companies are going to charge for their next gen titles. But here’s the thing—Ubisoft is releasing some of the same games on PS4 as well, and for a lower price. If you pre-order the PS5 versions of Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs Legion, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Amazon, you’ll pay $60 each. But if you pre-order the PS4 versions instead, you’ll pay $50 each.
Why is that relevant? Because Ubisoft is letting players upgrade their PS4 versions to PS5 digital versions for free. That means that you are saving $10 on each of these games.
So long as you are cool with getting digital editions, there really is no reason not to do this. If you are planning on buying all three games, you’ll end up saving $30. That is half the cost of any one of them for PS5 at full price.
So, get in your pre-orders for Ubisoft’s next gen games, and consider grabbing the PS4 versions with the free upgrades. When will you be able to pre-order the PS5 itself? We still don’t know, but we figure it should be any week now—maybe even any day now. Follow our PlayStation news to keep up with all things PS5!
