The Free Call of Duty: Mobile Holiday Content
While the game has been getting regular new content as part of its latest season, such as the One Shot, One Kill game mode, most of the Call of Duty: Mobile holiday content coming to the game is specifically for its battle royale mode. More specifically, it centres on the Circus; a new area which was added to the Isolated map several weeks ago. As part of the holiday event, the Circus will serve as the focal point of parades. “This Circus is not only known for death-defying stunts and acts of wonder,” explains Activision; “but also a holiday parade that travels around the map. Specifically, parade floats will emerge at different periods of time all around the island and chart a course directly to the Circus.”
Somewhat bizarrely, a zombie Santa Claus rides atop the parade floats, surrounded by a horde of holiday-themed zombies. Throughout matches, the parade will move to the Circus, regardless of what players are doing. Additionally, all players will be able to see its location on the map. While the zombies around the parade are ordinary zombies, the undead Santa Claus is effectively a boss enemy. When hit, he drops loot, including powerful new holiday-themed weapons. At present, he cannot actually be killed, only stunned. However, this may change later in the month, as Activision have teased.
“As you may come to find out,” continues Activision; “this boss can only be stunned, not killed, once his health hits zero while he travels to the Circus. While he may be immortal now, legend has it that this Kris Kringle’s powers disappear under the Christmas Eve moon’s light…”
