Modern Warfare Games of Summer: Shooting Range Trial is Now Live

Call of Duty’s global Games of Summer event is now several days in, and that means a new Trial is now playable in-game. Shooting Range is the fourth Trial of the event and the penultimate one. The final Trial will be launching tomorrow, after which, all will be playable until the 7th of September.

Modern Warfare Games of Summer Trial #4

As of today, the Shooting Range Trial is free to play in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone, like the first three Trials. Starting with Gun Course, a new Trial has gone live each day since the event began. Like the Risky Parkour Trial, which went live yesterday, Shooting Range takes place on an existing map; the King gunfight map. As the name implies, this Trial is a test of target-shooting accuracy, but it’s also a test of speed.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Games of Summer Shooting Range Trial

In the Shooting Range Trial, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of different weapons, and will then need to hit every target on the range. However, not only will you need to conserve ammunition, but also hit the targets as fast as you can, because you’ll be against the clock. To earn a medal, you must complete the Trial within a certain length of time. A bronze medal requires you to complete Shooting Range in no longer than 50 seconds. Completing it in 40 seconds or less will earn you silver. Finally, completing it in 30 seconds or under will win you the gold.

As a reminder, all of the medals earned by players during Games of Summer contribute to their country’s overall ranking. Weighted by the number of players, to give each country a fair chance, the top 15 nations are displayed each day on a global leaderboard. Additionally, players can earn bonus rewards for completing the Trials. Indeed, earning gold medals on all five Trials will get you a Legendary assault rifle weapon blueprint.
