The Atelier Arland Series Deluxe Pack release date was announced today by Koei Tecmo in a press release. This collection brings together all three games in the trilogy together for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC via Steam. Players will be able to pick up the entire trilogy or each game separately when the pack released on December 4, 2018.
The Arland Series Deluxe Pack includes Atelier Rorona DX, Atelier Totori DX, and Atelier Mururu DX. Each game will be sold separately or all together in a single bundle at a discounted price on all three platforms. This is a great way to revisit some fan favorites or check them out for the very first time ahead of the release Nelke & The Legendary Alchemists sometime in early 2019.
The Arland Series Deluxe Pack are the first games in the series to use 3D character models instead of 2D sprites as with previous games. It is also notable for being the final games self-published by studio Gust before merging with Koei Tecmo. Each subsequent game is a direct sequel to one another. The games share similar characters and all take place in the Arland republic.
In addition to the three games included in the Arland Series Deluxe Pack, the three titles will include much of the previously released downloadable content. The updated trilogy just recently released in Japan as a bundle and sold separately. The bundle itself costs 11,664 yen or just over $100 USD for all three games.
The individual titles are being sold in Japan on the Nintendo Switch eShop for 5,184 yen or just over $45 USD each. It remains to be seen what the pricing will be for these titles in the West, though, we do suspect it will be much less than that here as that is typically the case with other Japanese video games.
