DICE has just revealed a Battlefield V Airborne mode, in which you jump off with a parachute and then comfortably sail on the battlefield. Once there, your goal is to work with the comrades, destroy the enemy artillery, and ward off the threat from above.
Revealed through a Twitter post on the game’s official page, the Battlefield V airborne mode will work much like in Fortnite. Or at least that’s what we expect for now. As the tweet reveals, you’ll be able to parachute yourself into the battlefield, dropped from a plane. It reads:
Say hello to Airborne: a new #Battlefield V mode where you’ll parachute into the battlefield and work with your squad to destroy enemy artillery, or defend them and make sure the threat from above is dealt with.
We already knew, since the day Battlefield V was revealed, that the game will have an extra role given to paratroopers. There’s not much information about the Battlefield V airborne mode yet, however, no news about a potential battle royale mode has been revealed.
For what it’s worth, a battle royale title similar to Fortnite;s 50v50 mode will fit the franchise’s war theme perfectly. Even if such a thing won’t be revealed for now we hope DICE will think about it for a future update. Please?
In related news, the existence of the British faction on the Allied side & the German faction on the Axis side has been revealed in aspect of customization, bringing some clarity to the confusion over the matter. We expect more information about customization on Battlefield V to be revealed at E3 2018.
