Fortnite Battle Royale players will get some big and exciting events in the following weeks. Season 5 has entered its ninth week, which means that we are just two more weeks away from season 6. However, we can expect Epic Games to postpone the sixth season until October, giving players even more time to experience new events.
Beside in-game events, the Fortnite creator is bringing some exciting things players will be able to experience outside of the game. The Fortnite Monopoly game will be released on October 1, as it was revealed by the developer. However, Epic Games creative director has revealed an important hint on the monopoly tweet.
Fortnite Battle Royale Tilted Towers destruction
Many Fortnite Battle Royale players have theories about the Tilted Towers destruction. Players expected this area to be removed before season 5, even before season 4, but it’s still in the game. Fortunately, some of them may be right as it seems that Epic Games will destroy this place.
Shortly after Epic Games announced the monopoly game, Donald Mustard, its creative director, had something interesting to say. Mustard posted a short reply to the tweet, hinting at the destruction of the area.
RIP Tilted 😉

As you can see in the tweet above, the creative director wrote: “RIP Tilted” which is something many players have been saying for months.
Why Tilted Towers?
Epic Games added Tilted Towers to Fortnite Battle Royale on January 17, 2018. This point of interest came with the 2.2.0 update, and ever since then, it has been the most popular landing spot.
Tilted Towers area has a lot of loot, making it very attractive for landing. However, many players die in this place early in the game, which is something Epic Games may want to change.
At the moment, we don’t have more details about the possible destruction of the area. However, there is no doubt that the game developer will keep teasing us with more hints. Season 5 will most likely end this month, so we should get some answers in the following weeks.
