The Division 2 is out right now after several days of early access and players are busy finding Hyena keys and the like. However, there is a very annoying bug that players are having to deal with right now. This is the Division 2 skills disappearing bug. It is also known as the 15-second cooldown timer bug and it is plaguing users across the world.
The Division 2 skills disappearing bug is an annoying one, to say the least. While it is primarily a third-person shooter, the game also heavily emphasizes the skills you can equip. So, what’s the point of offering dozens of skills for you to choose from if you can’t use them in the game? That’s the main issue with this bug and here’s what you need to know about it.
For starters, what is the Division 2 skills disappearing bug? Well, it’s a bug that makes whatever skill you are using disappear just seconds after using it. If you throw down a turret or healing device, it will disappear just a few seconds after appearing. In addition, the game will give you only a 15-second cooldown instead of the longer one possibly as compensation.
So, you can use the skill again in 15 seconds but there’s no guarantee it will work. In our time with the game, this happens more often than not. While the 15-second cooldown does help, it’s more of a hassle than helpful. Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do. Sometimes the skills do stick around but the requirements for this are unknown.
What we do know, though, is that Ubisoft is hard at work on a Division 2 skills disappearing bug fix. This will make sure that players will be able to accurately use their skills and not have to worry about dying because they aren’t getting healed anymore. Stay tuned for an upcoming patch to fix this.
