On Wednesday, gamers will finally be able to get their hands on the NBA 2K20 demo to test out part of the upcoming game. While it won’t offer too much, it will give more than previous editions have. That’s because it will offer the option to test different MyPLAYER types to see which one might suit your needs best. Here are more details about when and how to get the NBA 2K20 demo for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch consoles.
NBA 2K20 demo release time, download details
The NBA 2K20 demo is set for official release on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. A tweet via the NBA 2K Twitter told the community to be prepared for around 11 a.m. Eastern Time (8 a.m. Pacific Time) on Wednesday.
The demo will only allow gamers to check out some of the MyPLAYER options with a number of configurations available. Once the official NBA 2K20 game releases, gamers will be able to transfer their MyPLAYER into the full game.
How to download for PS4, Xbox One, Switch
Here’s a recent YouTube video talking about the different MyPlayer build options that may be available with the upcoming NBA 2K20 game. Below the video are details for where to get the demo on each of the available consoles. The demo is not available on Windows PCs.
PlayStation 4 – Head to the official PlayStation Store on your PS4, or online via a web browser or mobile device. Make sure you’re logged in and then search the store for the NBA 2K20 demo. Add it to your cart and you’ll need to complete the “free of charge” purchase. Once you have it, you can go into your Library on the PS4 and download the new demo.
Xbox One – For the new demo on the Xbox One, go over to the Microsoft Store online. After logging in, search for and add the NBA 2K20 demo to your cart, and check out. The demo is free of charge. It should show up in your games download area on the Xbox One console for installation.
Nintendo Switch – The Nintendo Games Store is where to go if you’re trying to add the NBA 2K20 demo on the Switch console. Go there on your console or via a web browser or mobile device. You’ll need the Nintendo Switch account to log in, add the demo to your cart, and confirm the purchase. Once you’ve done that, it should be available for download on the Nintendo Switch.
