NBA 2K19 MyTeam Diamond Cards For Kobe Bryant, Klay Thompson Moments Challenge
Two players with high-scoring potential in the NBA world are featured in the latest NBA 2K19 MyTeam Diamond Cards. One of them is the legendary Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, based on the anniversary of his historic performance. The other is a guy who keeps having historic shooting performances of his own. Klay Thompson did it again the other night for the Golden State Warriors.

The man known as the “Black Mamba” received a Kobe Diamond card within NBA 2K19 MyTeam. This card went live in certain packs as a way to honor his historic 81-point performance. Kobe dropped that many on the Toronto Raptors back on Jan. 22, 2006.
The card won’t be too easy to find, though. Gamers have to earn their shot to add this special card to their mix. To do so requires scoring 81 points in a 2K19 game with any player just like Kobe did in the basketball world. Doing so results in winning a Throwback Elite pack and that just might have the Diamond Kobe inside of it.

This particular 2K19 MyTeam promotion lasts until Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time (10 p.m. Pacific Time).
NBA 2K19 MyTeam Diamond Card: Klay Thompson PD, Moments Challenge
Fast forward to more recent times and Klay Thompson was impressive in a Warriors’ victory this past Monday night. The NBA All-Star was on fire as he connected on his first 10 three-pointers he attempted in the game. Thompson finished with 44 points on 17-for-20 overall shooting (10-for-11 three-point shooting) in a 130-111 win over the Lakers.
Due to that performance, Klay also gets an NBA 2K19 Diamond card in the game. This one is a Pink Diamond Moments Card and available through the packs regularly. He joins fellow Diamond Card NBA stars including Paul George and LaMarcus Aldridge, among others.
However, 2K19 also announced a special challenge to go with Klay’s performance. Gamers can attempt to hit 10 threes in a 2K19 game and win MT. Those threes don’t have to be scored with Klay or consecutive like Klay’s either.

The new Klay Thompson Moments Challenge lasts for just a week’s time, so get in the game and start launching those threes. There are plenty of sharpshooters in the game to try with including Klay and his Warriors’ teammate Stephen Curry.
At least one gamer has posted a YouTube video (see below) showing off Klay Thompson’s skills in conjunction with his new 96 Pink Diamond Moments Card.
The NBA 2K19 game is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows PCs where games are sold.
