Following the recent release of “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher“ as a single, The Witcher soundtrack is now available to download and listen to online. In fact, such is the interest in this particular album that it has already charted at #4 on iTunes for Top Albums! Plus, “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher” has also hit #12 for Top Songs.
Netflix’s The Witcher Soundtrack
The Witcher soundtrack, which was composed by Sonja Belousova and Giona Ostinelli, launched earlier today on platforms like iTunes and Spotify. The release comes after consistent calling from fans for Netflix to release the album; calls which were no doubt largely driven by interest in the song “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher,” which has been enormously successful already on social media.
Indeed, as testament to how many fans were eagerly awaiting this release, The Witcher soundtrack has shot up the charts. Its 4th-place spot on iTunes’ Top Album chart puts it behind only Eminem, Breaking Benjamin, and Chasing Rice. Toss a Coin to Your Witcher itself may not have gotten into the top 10 for Top Songs (yet). However, it certainly came close. The #12 spot places the single just behind top musicians like Billie Eilish, Blake Shelton, and Dua Lipa, among others. Indeed, now that the music is available, it’s possible that it could rise even further in the next few days.
This is just one result of the passion for related material which The Witcher seems to have stoked among fans. Indeed, shortly after the launch of the series, CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt broke a new record for most concurrent players; indicating that the series had prompted a huge surge in players to return the game. (Or to try it for the first time.) The original novels are also very likely to be enjoying high sales too.
